Canadian Transgender Pride Flags are here

Canadian Transgender Pride Flags

We are honoured to be a manufacturer and supplier of Canada’s Transgender Pride Flag.

Designed by Ottawa graphic designer Michelle Lindsay, this unique Canadian transgender flag flies to show support and inclusion of the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender) Community.

This transgender flag was first used for the Trans Day of Remembrance (TDOR) on November 20, 2010 and was unfurled by the Ottawa Police Services. In later years City Halls, Fire, Paramedic and By Law Services have followed suit. As word spreads, the flag is showing up in more Pride Parades and events.

You can read more about its history at http://transflag.com/.

There are a few variations of the transgender pride flag out there, but this one was designed and manufactured in Canada.

We have the 36″ x 60″ i.s. flag in polyknit and the 4″ x 6″ stick flags printed on 100% recycled paper in stock right now with the lapel pins coming later this month.

You can buy them in our stores and online.
